Statement of solidarity with Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva

We address to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, to the Party of workers and to all Brazil people. News about the new decision of the Brazilian court, which toughens the term of punishment for Lula up to 12 years, has just come. For us, to the COMMUNIST PARTY OF COMMUNISTS OF RUSSIA – the fifth party of our country, and as well as it was always obvious to most of the people of Russia that this trial has political character. The right forces and the USA don’t want Lula’s return and PT to the power as it means a course on independence of Brazil and effective social policy. We consider that the period of the presidential power of Lula and Dilma Rousseff and alliance of the left forces led by PT was one of the most successful socialist projects in world history.
We express to Luiz Inacio de Silva and to the Party of Workers the sincere solidarity and support!
We urge all left and democratic forces in the world to support the people of Brazil at this moment and to condemn unfair court!
We believe in a victory of the people of Brazil – in Lula’s victory and PT!
