1. A Comissão Externa da Câmara dos Deputados foi impedida de inspecionar, nesta terça-feira (24), as condições da carceragem do ex-presidente Lula na sede da Polícia Federal, em Curitiba. Para os deputados Paulo Pimenta (PT-RS), coordenador da comissão, Paulo Teixeira (PT-SP) e Wadih Damous (PT-RJ), a decisão da juíza Carolina Lebbos viola a autonomia do poder Legislativo ao não reconhecer a atribuição constitucional que garante o poder fiscalizador dos parlamentares. Com base nisso, os deputados acionaram o presidente da Câmara, Rodrigo Maia, e informaram que irão representar contra a magistrada no Conselho Nacional de Justiça.

2. Na tarde desta terça-feira (24), a presidenta do PT, senadora Gleisi Hoffmann, apresentou a comissão que irá organizar o cronograma e a metodologia para a elaboração do Plano de Governo de Lula. Ela estava acompanhada do coordenador do programa de governo, Fernando Haddad, do presidente da Fundação Perseu Abramo, Marcio Pochmann, do secretário nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico do PT, Renato Simões, e do vice-presidente do partido, Marcio Macêdo. Na ocasião também foi informado que o grupo fará caravanas pelas 5 regiões do Brasil para colher demandas, sugestões e apresentar o plano de governo à população. No dia 15 de agosto, Lula será registrado candidato a presidência da República. Na mesma data o plano de governo será apresentado como uma forma pela qual os brasileiros conseguirão retornar à democracia plena e recuperar os direitos perdidos desde o golpe de 2016.

3. A segunda turma do Supremo Tribunal Federal decidiu nesta terça-feira (24) que o processo contra o ex-presidente Lula referente ao “sítio de Atibaia” deverá ser enviado à comarca de São Paulo. A decisão PROVA, mais uma vez, o que a defesa tem dito quanto tribunal de exceção criado em Curitiba para condenar Lula. “Não há qualquer elemento concreto que possa justificar a competência da 13ª. Vara Federal Criminal de Curitiba nos processos envolvendo o ex-presidente”, disse a defesa em nota.

4. Nesta quarta-feira (25), a partir das 10 horas, após o tradicional “Bom Dia” ao presidente Lula, Edson França, vice-presidente da Unegro, fala sobre o Combate ao Racismo e retomada da democracia no Brasil na Vigília Democrática #LulaLivre. Entre 15h e 17h, ação poética: DE/PARA: cartas de brasileiros “desocupados” para ocupados moradores de um país invadido, com o coletivo Salmonela Urbana cia Performática. Ainda em Curitiba haverá também panfletagem #LulaLivre – #LulaPresidente na Rua XV esquina com Rua Mons. Celso.

1. The Congressional External Commission was barred from inspecting ex-President Lula’s prison conditions at the Federal Police headquarters building in Curitiba on this Tuesday, April 24. For Commission coordinator Congressman Paulo Pimenta (PT-Rio Grande do Sul), and Congressmen Paulo Teixeira (PT-São Paulo) and Wadih Damous (PT-Rio de Janeiro), Judge Carolina Lebbos’ decision violates the Legislative Branch’s autonomy by not recognizing the constitutional role that guarantees Congress’ auditing power. On this basis, the Congressmen engaged with House Speaker Rodrigo Maia, informing him that they will open charges against the Judge in the National Council of Justice.

2. This Tuesday afternoon, April 24, PT President, Senator Gleisi Hoffmann presented the commission that will organize the schedule and the methodology for creating the plan for Lula’s government. She was accompanied by the coordinator for the governmental plan, Fernando Haddad, Perseu Abreu Foundation President Marcio Pochmann, the PT’s National Economic Development Secretary Renato Simões, and PT Vice President Marcio Macêdo. During the presentation they also announced that the group will organize a tour through the 5 regions of Brazil to listen to demands and suggestions and present the Government Plan to the population. On August 15thLula will be registered as a candidate for the presidency of the Republic. On the same date the Government Plan will be presented as a way that the Brazilian people can bring back Democracy and recuperate the rights that have been lost since the 2016 Coup.

3. This Tuesday (April 24) the Second term of the Federal Supreme Court decided that the charges against ex-President Lula related to the “Atibaia ranch” should be transferred to the São Paulo court system. The decision PROVES, once again, what the defense has said about the court of exception created in Curitiba to condemn Lula. “There is no element of material evidence whatsoever that can be used to justify trying any case involving the ex-President in the 13th Federal District Court in Curitiba,” said the defense lawyers in a note published today.

4. On Wednesday, April 25, starting at 10 AM, after the traditional “good morning” yell to president Lula, Edson França, Vice President of Unegro will talk about the fight against racism and returning democracy to Brazil at the #LulaLivre Democratic Vigil camp. Between 3 PM and 5 PM there will be a poetry event – From/To: letters of disoccupied Brazilians to the occupied residents of an invaded country, with the Salmonela Urbana cia Performática collective. There will also be an action to distribute #LulaLivre-#LulaPresidente pamphlets on the corner of Rua XV and Rua Mons, in Curitiba.
